Japanese artist Takanori Aiba merged the two different crafts
the design of physical space and the drawing of labyrinths into
these incredibly detailed miniature sculptures. Using craft paper,
plastic, plaster, acrylic resin, paint and other materials Aiba
constructs sprawling miniature communities that wrap around bonsai
trees, lighthouses, and amongst the cliffs of nearly vertical
islands. The level of detail and intricacy in his work is truly
mind-blowing. Each sculpture is like a miniature world, bursting
with life and stories. Have fun!
